With deep regret, Asahi Law Offices announces the passing of its counsel, NAKAJIMA Toshijirou on December 13, 2011. He entered Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1948 and served as ambassador to Singapore, Australia, China and other countries. He was appointed as the Justice of Supreme Court of Japan in 1990 and was in charge of several important judgments. After his retirement, he was certificated as an attorney and joined Asahi Law Offices as a counsel. Meanwhile he worked in a number of important governmental and non-governmental positions, including the special counsel of the Imperial Household Agency.
